At Kundan Art Jewellers, we take pride in exceptional craftsmanship and professional jewellery services. This policy explains our procedures for repairs, custom orders, shipping, returns, cancellations, and warranties.

Each item is individually inspected before work begins.
2. Repair Assessment & Estimates
We evaluate required work, recommended options, estimated completion time, and cost. An estimate is provided before work begins whenever reasonably possible. Additional work affecting cost requires customer approval.

These are estimates and may vary due to complexity, material availability, seasonal demand, or unforeseen circumstances.
4. Custom Jewellery Orders
Before production, the customer must approve design details, materials, gemstones where applicable, pricing, and estimated completion time. Once production begins, changes may not be possible, additional changes may incur charges, and deposits are generally non-refundable.
5. Shipping Your Jewellery to Us
- Package items securely.
- Use a trusted courier with tracking.
- Purchase insurance appropriate to the jewellery value.
- Keep the tracking number until delivery is confirmed.
We are not responsible for loss or damage before your shipment is received by us.
6. Shipping Completed Orders
Completed items may be collected in person or shipped using reputable couriers. Tracking is provided where applicable. Shipping times depend on destination and courier. Customs duties, import taxes, or local fees are the customer's responsibility unless otherwise agreed.
7. Shipping Risk
Risk of loss transfers upon successful delivery to the supplied address or collection from our workshop/store. Inspect shipments immediately and report damage to both the courier and Kundan Art Jewellers as soon as reasonably possible.
8. Returns
Standard Jewellery
If eligible, standard items may be returned within 14 days of delivery or collection, provided they are unused, in original condition, include original packaging and documentation, and have not been altered or resized. Returns are subject to inspection.
Non-Returnable Items
- Custom-made jewellery
- Personalised or engraved items
- Handmade Kundan jewellery made to customer specifications
- Handmade Diamond Polki jewellery made to customer specifications
- Jewellery modified at the customer's request
- Completed repair services
9. Refunds
Approved refunds are generally processed to the original payment method. Shipping, insurance, customs duties, and similar fees are generally non-refundable unless required by law. Processing time depends on the payment provider.
10. Repair Warranty
Unless stated otherwise in writing, repairs include a 90-day workmanship warranty from collection or delivery and cover only defects directly related to our repair work. The warranty does not cover normal wear, accidental damage, misuse, loss, impact or chemical damage, improper storage, work by another jeweller, or pre-existing weaknesses. Claims are subject to inspection.
11. Custom Jewellery Warranty
Custom jewellery includes a 12-month workmanship warranty for manufacturing defects under normal wear. It does not cover accidents, impact-related stone loss, everyday wear, improper care, or third-party alterations. Natural gemstone characteristics or inclusions are not manufacturing defects.
12. Cancellations
Repair Services
Repairs may be cancelled before work starts. If work has begun, charges may apply for labour and materials used.
Custom Jewellery Orders
Orders may be cancelled before production begins. After production begins, deposits are generally non-refundable and the customer may be responsible for costs already incurred.
13. Customer Responsibilities
- Provide accurate contact details.
- Declare known previous repairs or gemstone treatments.
- Review quotations before approval.
- Inspect completed work upon receipt.
- Follow recommended care instructions.
14. Limitation of Liability
Older or previously repaired jewellery may contain hidden weaknesses. Although we exercise professional care, not every repair can be completed without risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific repair or product giving rise to the claim.
